Purpose
We publish educational guides and calculators for recreational players. This page explains what we check before we recommend reading a page — and what we do not claim.
What we check
- Licensing claims — We look for a named regulator (for example UKGC, MGA, or a stated offshore licence) and note when we cannot verify it from a public register.
- Bonus maths — Wagering, game weighting, max cashout, and time limits. We prefer numbers you can plug into our bonus tools.
- Payments — Deposit and withdrawal methods listed by the operator, plus any public fee or speed language. We do not guarantee payout times.
- Responsible play — Age gates, self-exclusion links, and whether marketing language is over-promising.
What “tested” means here
Unless a page explicitly says we funded a live account, treat reviews as document and maths review, not a secret shopper report. When we do run a live check, we record the date on the page.
